MINDSPIN

MindSpin is a Research and Development (R&D) organisation from Cyprus committed to the promotion of innovation and the enhancement of the sport spirit. Our vision is to increase participation in sport and physical activity and, thereby, the creation of a more active, more inclusive, and healthier society. 
MindSpin is a front runner in the research and development of the technological transformation of sports developing innovative tools which aim at the enhancement of athletic performance and experience, and in the overall revolution of sports and fitness. Our team consists of people from many fields (sport and physical education, computer science, engineering, education etc). This allows us to develop ideas and projects which can create positive, inclusive experiences for everyone, fight any form of discrimination and promote equality in sport. 

MindSpin has received many awards for its initiatives which provide a safe, ethical and inclusive sporting environment for people from all backgrounds. At the same same time, multiple scientific papers and reports are produced from its researchers in the field of sport and physical activity. 
Through our activities, we give the community possibilities to combine physical activity with recreation, to support bottom-up initiatives of the community and enable the integration of young and adult people into society especially those of rural areas by involving them in our work, and encouraging their creative spirit that helps increasing youth and adult participation in both local community and society in general. 
We believe that physical activity can lead to the active and responsible involvement of individuals in the social, cultural and educational life of the communities.
